Neighbor Problems
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Kentucky
I have a neighbor that lives across the street from me. Almost everyday when I am outside, he yells things across the street at myself and my other 3 neighbors. The words he yells are things such as "queer, fag, white trash" and so on. We keep calling the police, but they do nothing about it except go and talk to the guy. Can I go press charges or get a protective order against this guy?
Thanks for any help!

Re: Neighbor Problems
If you think you are in danger from him and can convince a judge you can get a protective order, but since he is not really threatening or coming on your property, I dont really know what all that would do for you in this case. Why not ignore him? He obviously keeps on because he must get a response. If you ignore people for long enough, they will move along. Just my suggestions

Re: Neighbor Problems
Thats the thing, we keep ignoring him, and just calling the police when he says things but he keeps at it. I want to go outside in peace. I have installed a camera with audio. If he says anything that is recorded, can I do anything then?
Thanks for your help!
