Emancipating 18 Year Old Daughter in New York

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: NJ

My boyfriend has an 18 yo daughter who continues to state he is a horrible father, curses him out, and supposedly wants nothing to do with him. He gives the mother child support they agreed on while not going through courts. Daughter states she has job, doesn't need him, as of yet has no plans for college. Is he required to continue payment even after HS graduation?

Not without a court order telling him to do so.
