    Shoplifting, Second Offense
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois

okay so this is my second offense for shoplifting the 1st time i was 17 and got arrested i was charged with a misdemeanor ,when i went to court no one showed up so i was let go.

i am now 19 and i recently got caught again, charged under misdemeanor again! this time I'm really petrified of my consequences! whats going to happen to me?!
i dont want to go to jail.
trust me i've SOOO learned my lesson.
i just need some insight as in what is in store for me.

Nobody can promise you an outcome. Your best option for figuring out what's likely to happen based upon the full facts, your record, the exact charge filed, and the policies of the prosecutor and court, is to ask a local lawyer.
