Tenant Gave 30 Days Notice Now Wants to Stay
My question involves an eviction in the state of: New Jersey

I have a tenant that I was going to evict mainly because they are very filthy, which has caused a bug infestation. In addition, they have caused significant damage in the property (broken doors, windows, etc.). Just before I filed against them they gave 30 days notice of intent to vacate. Now several days before the 30 days are up, they have stated that they want to stay. I really need them to go so I can repair and start over. Will I have to go through the regular eviction process if they don't leave?

you always have to go through the legal eviction process when a renter does not movve out.
