Lost Speeding Ticket
My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Washington.
I lost my speeding ticket that I received while speeding on Snaqulmie Pass in Washington State in the early part of 2008..
The problem is I am from BC and was not returning to the US for any more trips but will be traveling again thru Wa sometime in the near future. When I got home I left if for approximately 1 week and then telephoned what I thought was the jurisdiction for the traffic offense so that I could pay the ticket over the phone or to get them to send me a copy of ticket so that I couls send a payment.. Instead I kept getting a reply that they didn't have me in the system so rather than phoning and paying any further long distance charges. I have been waiting for a notice of that particular ticket in the mail. Now suddenly after 8 months i have just now receceived notice that my drivers license will be suspuspended if further action is not taken but again. It doesn't give me an amount to pay of what the original ticket is etc. The notice also has my drivers license number is incorrect. i am not worried because BC will not supspend my licesense. I have checked with ICBCHowever I do not want to lose my driving privileges in Washington state. How do I clear this.??????

Re: Lost Speeding Ticket
Contact the court and ask them if they know what the amount is. if they don't, they will tell you how to go about determining how much it is/will be!Pay the ticket.
