Moving Out of State Immediately After Filing No-Contest Divorce
My question involves divorce in the State of: MA (Cambridge - Middlesex County).
I am filing no contest divorce and have a joint separation agreement with my wife and it is a mutually agreed upon and "peaceful" divorce - no kids or no division/argument over property involved. However, I will be moving permanently to Virginia within a week or so after filing my divorce, and my wife already lives in NY (she never lived in MA, I just moved to MA 8 months ago and now moving out; we have been separated for over a year now). My question is -- is it going to be a problem if I move out after filing divorce? Do I have to file in Virginia again or go through complication, or once it is filed in MA it is cool? Also, my wife won't be able to appear for court at all, is there anyway I can get out of court appearance too ?
Thanks

Somebody is going to have to appear in court.
Why not have your wife file in New York, or wait until you're a resident of Virginia and file there?
