Custody Question
I am a father of a 14 year old boy. The mother gave full custody to me when he was 6 with no order for support. Last year my son decided he wanted to live with his mom, so I let him go. Now a year later he is not going to school and going out late at nite getting in trouble. Since the custody order has never changed, would I be able to just go over there and pick him up? Of course he wants to live with his mom since he gets away with doing this. I just want what is best for him. We live in Ohio, does anyone know what the law would be in this case?

Since you have legal custody, you can pick up your son whenever you feel like.
She could call the police to try and stop you, but unless she can produce a court order that overides the one you have, they won't do anything.
She could also TRY to file for legal custody in court, but she would need a really good excuse as to why (a) she waited until now to file since the child had been with her for a year and (b) why and how she allowed the child to deteriorate so much over the past year.
