Expungement of Two Felonies Related To One Incident, in Michigan
Please HELP. Are there any exceptions to the Michigan Law that allow provisions to expunge at least one of the 2 felonies that I admitted to and was charged for. Both felonies, embezzlement and filing of a false police report are related to the same mistake I made at the age of 19. I have never since been in trouble nor was I ever in trouble before the event. I am a married man, with a wife and a son, and have been consistently working full-time, with outstanding employee performance and recognition. In addition, I am in the process of returning to a job for a second interview and am afraid that I will not pass the criminal background check due to the fact that it seems I am about to be denied my expungement request. HELP.

    Michigan Expungement Law
Michigan's expungement law explicitly limits its application to people with one conviction. You can consult a local lawyer to see if there is any way you can try to work around the law.
