Gave Son 1/2 a Valium to Calm Him Down
Gave son half of a valium to help him calm down and sleep after him having several nights of horrible sleep and tons of stress due to other issues. And wouldn't you know it that school did random drug test next day and he was picked. He tested positive for benzodiazepines which he does not have a prescription for.....what do i do NOW???????

He isn't on drugs.....his mom was the pusher....I told the school he didn't have a prescription for them and I had given it to him....then I hear I am in huge trouble.....good lord....what more can happen!

What school does he go to. Is it public or private, since when do schools do random drug testing.

As for providing your son with the valium. Well that is a controled substance. You are not his doctor and there for can not provide him with prescription drugs. So yes the law was violated.

The question is are you being charged with anything.

Dang I guess when you do not have kids in school. You don't realize what goes on in them any more.

I would be on the phone with a lawyer. I understand your here looking for advice. But the best thing you can do is contact a lawyer. Because I see a need for one in your future.
