    Parole and Probation Transfers
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arizona and Idaho
my grandson is getting out of prison in az and will be on parole for six months.
As soon as his parole is finished he will be on probation (standard) for five years. Two separate theft charges. Where & how do I start procedures to get him moved to Idaho an all counts?

    Re: Parole/Probation Transfers
You can't initiate the process on his behalf, although you could hire a lawyer to advise him or advocate for him. He needs to talk to his probation officer. He should talk to his parole officer as well, but a six month period of parole is likely to be completed or almost complete before an interstate transfer could be negotiated.
