Terminated after signing a one-year offer confirmation
I was recruited by a head hunter for a chicago area compnay. I signed an offer confirmation for 1 year. The person I was to replace (FEMALE) did not work out in her new position and I was let go after 2 months because they had to move her back into my position.

I know there are NO LAWS for white males, but CMON!!!

I have a signed offer confirmation for 1 year!!

We are talking around 70K a year compensation.

    Any lawyers want this?..

To confirm what anyone may read, I was contacted by a headhunter who has placed several engineers into this American based, Taiwanese owned company, then, everything was contacted to me from them.

They offered me the job, had me sign a 1 year aggreement running thru 1/02/07, and then had me write up reports on how to fix the company.

After submitting my reports and seeing to start implementing them, they then let me go as the woman I was replacing could not handle it.,

They never once even had a meeting with me or talked to me..I just sent them emails at night at home on my own free time.

    Then, just lett me go!!

I want everything plus my own time. plus the paid insurance plus the Xmas bonus plus the promised year end bonus...

Am I wrong to ask for what I was promised?..

    Mr. Knowitall
    Termination of Employment Contract
Did the contract define the terms under which employment could be terminated within its one year term?

You may well have an action for wrongful termination based on that contract.
