Disagreement with Boss. Was Fired. Boss Says I Quit
My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Kentucky.

After a disagreement in which both of us were upset, my boss fired me. She says I was told to leave and walked out or quit. She did not contact me at all afterward. Her assistant says I was told to leave. Truth is she fired me. I have just had a teleconference hearing. Guess it is my word against hers. What is the normal ruling for unemployment benefits in this situation?

There is no "normal" ruling for such a situation.

UI will ask you for what happened, and ask the employer for what happened, and investigate further as necessary.

It could go either way for you.
