Will a store reveal a juvenile shoplifter's name?
swim got caught stealing eyeshadow at sephora about a month ago. swim is a juvenile and lives in california. when swim got caught by the police he said that someone told him to do it (which is true.. swim knew that it didnt matter and wouldnt make a difference but the cops said to tell the whole story)

swim's court date is probably coming up soon and hes wondering if they will ask the name of the person who told him to do it.. he is doubting it but there might be a possibility and he doesn't want to take any chances because he REALLY doesnt want to get his friend in trouble.. even if they do ask could swim say he doesn't want to release the name?

also, if swim gets a lifetime ban from sephora are the workers going to be LOOKING OUT for him or do you think swim would be able to go in there for a couple of minutes without getting arrested for trespassing?

They can't make him name names if he doesn't want to. It is impossible to guess if there would be any repurcussion; juvenile courts can be weird.

If he trespasses, he risks being arrested. So it isn't a good idea.

The judge could care less who told swim to do it, the fact is swim did it. If swim goes back there is a good chance he'll be spotted, re-arrested for the trespass and taken to jail.
