Error on Cellphone Traffic Violation in New York
Can anyone help me with this question?
My husband was driving and I was sitting on the passenger side. I was talking on my cell phone and holding it with my left hand. The phone was on speaker so it was in between my husband and I. An officer pulled us over and gave my husband a ticket for using the cell phone while driving. We explained that I was holding the phone but he didn't want to hear us. Everything on the ticket is correct except for where the vehicle is registered. The vehicle is registered in Florida and he put on the ticket registered in Pennsylvania. The ticket was given to us in New York. Can we fight that ticket and have it dismissed??

The worst that can happen if you fight it is that you'll have to pay up anyway.

No guarantees that it will be dismissed, but it can't hurt to try.
