Can a Victim Get the Offender's Unclaimed Property From the State
7 years ago my ex-boyfriend drove me off the road intentionally with witnesses. Destroying both cars that were both mine. He left the state before being caught. 2 yrs ago they caught him in GA. But wasn't brought back to PA to be tried. Last week I found out he has unclaimed property in this states treasury department bureau of unclaimed property. Am I not intitled to this since he is responsible for my cars and trying to kill me. If so How?

You are not entitled to it until you sue him and a court finds in your favor and restitution is ordered and the account is attached by the court.
I suspect the amount is low anyway.
I would forget it, the legal mess and stress is not worth it. He lives in another state anyway, this greatly complicate matters even within any arguable statute of limitations.
