Theft of a Firearm

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

My dad was picked up and i was just wondering if any one can tell me how long does he face in jail or prison.Here are his charges.

5 out of county Theft of fire arm
1 count of theft $50-$500

All six of them are $5000 a piece.
Im not sure, but ithink the 5 theft of fire arm are warrants.And to add he his a convicted felon.
So,if anyone could help me out,PLEASE!!

He can get a very long prison sentence. Future problems that you did not consider is the fact that the county will turn this over to the ATF when they are done with him.

He probably will face federal charges as well. The ATF does go after these types of cases as well. If he took these from a registered gun dealer the odds of federal charges being filed are about 95%
