    Court hearing for underage drinking
This weekend I had a few of my friends over, at the time I was the only person under 21. A lot of people showed up I had no clue who they were or how old they were. They all brought their own alcohol. Things got out of control I tried to make everyone leave but the cops came about ten minutes later. They asked who the owner of the house was which was me. Handcuffed me took me to the cruiser and summons me to court on permitting underage drinking and underage drinking. They never breathalized me or ask me anything just simply took me to the cop car wrote out the two papers and let me go. They made everyone else leave besides one girl who was 20. I have no idea who she was but I heard from some people she was 20, and there were a couple other 20 year olds besides me but the cops let them go. I was drinking but they have no proof and I really didn't permit or contribute to underage drinking. I've nevr been in trouble before and don't know if I should plead guilty or not. If the punishment is just a fine I would rather just pay it instead of having to get a lawyer and have to miss school for court. By the way I am 10 days from being 21 do judges take this into consideration?

    Underage Party
They don't have to prove that you were drinking - you are the host of the party where there was obvious, rampant underage drinking, and that's what they've charged you for. You should consider consulting a local criminal defense lawyer, particularly if you don't have a prior record of any sort, as you may be able to avoid a criminal record.
