17 Year Old Dating 15 Year Old
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Texas

I am a 15 year old dating a 17 year old in the State of Texas. Currently, I am experiencing problems with my parents. They do not want me to be seeing my boyfriend and haven't been for a long while. However, I continued to see him. Well, my parents recently found out and they do not want me to stay with him. My mother is threatening his family that she is going to press charges on him for not staying away from me because he had already told him to back off. Aside from the restraining order she is allowed to put on him, is their any charges at all that she could press. We have never had sex before and been together for a year and 5 months.

Things like "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" and "interference with custody of a child", for starters.

Sex occurring or not, courts uphold the ABSOLUTE right of parents to control who their children are around. When parents say "no", they have police and the courts in their corner.
