Hold on a minute. You don't even have the question right - it's not about him getting in trouble, but about his sister's custody of her kids. And you're inferring, with no reason to believe it's the case, that the minor girlfriend is spending the night platonically. I recognize that sixteen-year-olds often think they know everything, but no. Not even close.
