Emancipation
:wallbang:Well I will be 16 in about a month. And I don't like my living enivronment. I am pregnant(please do not mention anything about me being to young to be a mother i realize that, im not here asking to be yelled at) if i have a job and an apartment may i be emancipated. I live in ny btw. I know they dont have any laws on this. Could any1 please help me. It would be extremly appreciated.

I KNOW that, everytime im on these sites i get ALL kinds of mixed up answers. im not trying to be rude but is there anyone on here that knows for sure at what they're talking about?

Mind your tone, Miss Thang.
If you know so much, then you'll know that you cannot be emancipated in the state of New York. Words mean things. "No emancipation statute" means "No, you cannot has".
You not liking the answer doesn't mean we don't know what we're talking about.
Also? Asking the same question over again is not going to change the answer. It was NO the last time you asked, and NO it will remain.

Yes. I know for sure what I'm talking about.
There is no emancipation statute in NY. That means you cannot be emancipated.
In addition, I know for sure what I'm talking about when I tell you that even if there were an emancipation statute in NY, which there is not, no judge in NY (or any other state for that matter) will emancipate a pregnant teenager.
The answer is no. If you have a job and an apartment you cannot be emancipated. Is that answer clear enough for you?
