    Can One Parent Stop Emancipation
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Nevada

My name is Mariah XXXXX, I live in Pahrump, Nevada, I am sixteen years of age and I would like to get emancipated from my parents. My father and I are always at each others throats and I don't think it is healthly for him, me or my younger brother to see. He said that he will not help me anymore and that I will have to help myself. My mother is willing to help me get emancipated but I highly doubt that my father will let me. The thing is 6 years ago when my parents got divorced my mother recieved custody of my brother and me. So will he have a say in me getting emancipated? And I heard that in Nevada you have to be living away from your parent for more then 4 months to get emancipated. Is this true?
