My wife and I sponsored my mother to come here from trinidad, since that time we have gotten a divorce (2 years). Is my ex still responsible for support to my mother..if so how is this enforced?

If a person is sponsored to come to the U.S., and they end up collecting certain forms of government aid, during the period of sponsorship the government can seek to recover that expense from the sponsor.
