Sworn Denial Letter on Day of Hearing
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Missouri
I am being sued by a national creditor for an improper amount. My civil proceeding is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I am representing myself. In the state of Missouri, can I file a sworn denial letter on the day of the proceeding, or does this have to be done in advance? If I can file it, do I do that before I officially enter my appearance, or does it matter? Also, if it is too late to file the letter, what are my options?
I really appreciate any help!! I have searched the forums, but haven't found anything specifically answering my question.

Well, you posted this a bit late for anybody to help you. What happened in court?
