Violation of Previous Probation
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
I got discharged from my probation one week ago. 2 days before I got discharged, my officer heard rumor of me being in a local bar. She said that if she was able to find any honest proof that I was, I would be charged with a probation violation.
I have not heard anything else from her, and when I went in and paid the rest of my fines, they said that I was discharged and clear.
If she is able to find proof, can I still be charged with the probation violation even though I have been discharged?
Re: Violation of Previous Probation
If you've been discharged from probation, having served your entire term of probation, you got away with your probation violation. Even if the probation officer had the time to deal with closed cases, she can't turn back the clock.
