Transfer of Probation to Get Married
My question involves marriage law for the State of: Maryland

Ive been in the army for about six months
Hes currently on probation for a DUI a year ago.
Hes been making most of his payments on time but he still has a year left of probation.
When you get stationed somewhere in the army your spouse can come with you.

Since hes on probation I would like to know if he hiwill be able to transfer from his PO to another one wherever I'm stationed at.

we figured that another state wouldn't exactly want to take charge of another states criminal, but im not sure if my being in the army could make a difference in that.

either way, we want to be together.
If his PO wont allow a transfer, what can i do to make sure he will be with me??

    He can ask.

If the probation officer and sentencing court say "no", you can attempt to quit the Army so you can be with him, or maintain a long-distance relationship from wherever you're stationed.
