Abuse of Expense Report Constitutes Misconduct
My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: California
My employer stated I used excessive gasoline for my vehicle, that I used to do their work. He terminated me saying it was misconduct. Based on information given to EDD, EDD determined that there was no reason to discharge on the basis of miscondct. The employer has appealed the decision. Now we go to hearing. How should I prepare for the hearing? has anyone had a case like mine?
