Is There a Minimum Amount of Time You Must Be on Probation Before an Early Discharge
My question involves criminal law for the state of: michigan

Im curious to know, is there a minimum amount of time you must be on probation before they can let you go early? I was sentenced to 2 years probation for a felony.

I have done everything they wanted me to, and this week im giving them the remaining 500 dollars i owe and that is everything for this probation. Plus i have passed my drug tests, no negatives anywhere.

Also, what about a misdemeanor charge? I got sentenced to a year at a different county. Which i have done everything they wanted me to do, and im going to pay the remaining balance of my fines in just a month.

    Thanks for the responses.

Most people serve their entire sentence of probation.

There's no magic percentage you must serve before being considered for an early discharge.

I assume, in relation to your drug tests, you meant no positives.;)
