I want to get Away From Home

Hello, I am 15 and I'm from WI. I have read the Emancipation law, but all I want now is an opinion form an outsider. My mother is a drunk, we constantly fight and my father is never home. Is it a right choice to get an Emancipation. I can get a job, and I have a family frined who is willing to take me in.

Whether or not emancipation is "the right choice" is not really a legal issue, but is a personal issue. I think you might get better counsel by talking to a trusted relative, or to a guidance counselor at school.
