    Authorized User Credit Report
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: california

i am an authorized user on my roommates credit card, it is showing up on my credit report, she is considering filing bk7, i am sure this will show somehow on my report, but can i contest it as not being my cc? can i have it removed?
does usage make it my cc? i didnt sign any agreement, but have used it on her behalf.

Just write to the 3 bureaus and tell them to remove the accounts from your credit report. They have a box to check "belongs to primary account holder" they will then remove that account from your credit report and BLOCK that account number from being reported in the future.

    OH MY, go figure:mad:
