Parole to Detainer
Lebanon County, state of Pa. Sentenced to 6 to 23 months, given immediate county probation. Release to probation is not possible because of a probation detainer brought against me by another county. My legal question is: Can Lebanon County Probation Department parole me to my Chester County Probation Department detainer? This detainer is blocking my release in Lebanon County. If Lebanon County Probation Department paroles me to detainer then I can address the issues in the other county which brought this detainer against me. Appreciate any advice or answer. Fox.

Re: Parole to Detainer
I am not sure I understand.
You were recently found guilty of a crime and given probation. However, you are not being released because there is a warrant for you in another county.
Right?
If this is the case, it is perfectly legal for you to be held pending the remaining outstanding warrants.
