First Time Burglary Charge

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wisconsin
One of my friends, who is 17, just got caught burglarizing two different businesses. I dont know the value of what him and his two friends took, but this is his first offense. They were charged with burglary, attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools. Could someone tell me the kind of punishment he'll receive, i.e a hefty fine or 30 days in jail??????

His lawyer can advise him as to his likely sentence. Pending that, you can work through the sentencing guidelines to see what sentence is likely, assuming the plea bargain doesn't result in a reduction of the charges.
