MIP Ticket

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Iowa

I got a MIP for blowing a .015. I am almost 21. The officer that pulled me over had no reason. We were not speeding, he said there was an empty box on the road that wasn't there before. Is this grounds for pulling us over? On the MIP ticket he spelled my first name wrong.. is this worth fighting? My friend also had the wrong court date put down on her MIP ticket.. I need advice?!?! This is my first offense.
