Basically you attribute a quote to somebody that totally the opposite of their personally. Like this:

cyjeff: *to some random poster* "You made a mistake - that doesn't make you a bad person. I hope you don't have to serve jail time"

Or....

cyjeff: "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."

Or...

M'staMikey: "My knowledge of that subject is limited."

Blue eagle..."Cy is such a good looking man that I am willing to start batting for the other team!"
