Married to Illegal Immigrant / Needs Background Check from Border Patrol
My husband has been in the US illegally for 8 years. We are trying to find out if there is a way to get his citizenship here being that our lawyer said he has two "bars" against him. He also says unless we obtain a report from the border patrol, we will not be able to do anything else. He was stopped by immigration 1 time while returning from visiting his family. Does anyone know the form I am looking for to request a "personal background check" or something like this from the US Border Patrol? I've called a few places and no one knows what I am talking about. Thank you for your help. It's greatly appreciated.

You have a lawyer - have your lawyer help you with this.
Ask your lawyer what this form is.

I did. Thank you. The reason why I didn't ask him first was because he was going to charge us $300 to perform the tasks needed. I knew I could do this on my own for cheaper, and I thought that if I asked him to do it on my own it might aggrivate him in some way. However I have found what I needed. Thank you
