My Child Does Not Stay with Either Parent Can She Be Emancipated
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: indiana
i currently pay childsupport for a child that is 15 and lives with neither parent
nor does she listen to me or her mother she has gotten tattoos against our
word not to mention countless other acts.the mother collects childsupport
for the three kids she has but none of the kids live with her and i dont
understand why im paying her child support if the child does not live with
her and only recieves a portion of the support.only one of the kids are mine
but i see the scheme.is there some way she can be emancipated and i help
    her directly?

In a word, no. The state does not grant emancipation on that basis and does not grant it to 15 year olds under any circumstances.

My friend needs to be emancipated but she's 15. She also has a record of running away and if she runs away one more time, she would be going to a juvenile detention center. No one is helping her and she's trying to talk to her school counselor but they've been no help at all. She's scared because her mom starting hitting her for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Her parents yell at her all the time and her step dad calls her horrible names. I'm trying to help since i just found out alot of what's been happening to her. I told her that she might need to wait six more months because her birthday is in november. Her biological father says she can come live with him but her parents won't let her. He said that her parents don't need to give him a penny and he would give her a good home. Her parents are very racist but they say otherwise, their freaking liars. They tell my friends past to EVERY new neighbor and to all their friends. She's done and I'm done watching her suffer. Please my question is Can a minor get emancipated with a record? If anyone can answer it would be greatly appreciated.

You should have started your own thread but the answer is still no. A 15 year old still cannot be emancipated with the exception of two states, neither of them either Indiana or Arizona. Emancipation is only granted to teens who have shown exceptional maturity and ability to manage their own affairs. A teen who has a record wouldn't have a prayer as they have proven they need MORE supervision, not less.

For the same reason, she won't be emancipated at 16, either.

If she is being abused, the answer is not emancipation but to call CPS. She will NOT be emancipated based on your post.
