It appears that the Arkansas limitations period on an open account is three years. That would presumably run from the last charge, last payment, or the date payment was due following the last charge, whichever is later.Quote:

I am still a little bit confused about the statute of limitations. an unsecured credit card is considered a written agreement and the statute of limitations for a written agreement is 6 years in Arkansas. at the same time an unsecured card is considered an open account therefore the statute of limitations would be for 3 years in Arkansas. What am I missing here?

The mere fact that there is a written contract underlying an open account, as is always the case with a credit card, does not mean that it is no longer an open account.
