Re-Entry in the US with a Misdemeanor
    Hi
I am a permanent resident for 9 months now . i was resently charged with a misdemeanor (pettie theif). My case has not been resolved as yet. I was planning on leaving the US for a visit in another country before all this happen. When my case is resolved is it safe for me to travel or will i be denied re-entry at the usa port.

It's probably going to be okay (petty offense exception to crimes of moral turpitude), but any time you break the laws of your host country you put your immigration status in jeopardy.

Work with your lawyer to try to get a dismissal without your having to enter a guilty plea or allocute (state under oath facts constituting the offense).
