Case Not Ready for Final Hearing in Florida
My question involves child support in the State of: Florida I just got a letter in the mail saying that my case is not ready for final hearing because I must obtain service of process on the other party or they must file an answer which includes their signature, printed name, address & telephone number. And next to that in parenthesis it says (MODIFICATION) in bold black lettering.

All I'm trying to do is set a hearing with the general magistrate to modify my child support, reinstate my drivers license & modify my visitation rights. I filed in the courthouse a motion & an order for a referral with the general magistrate, but this is what was returned to me. I thought I was filling out the correct paperwork since that is what her office told me to do. What does it mean that I have to obtain service of process on the other party? The other two parties that are involved which are seperate cases will not cooperate with an answer, signature, printed name, address, etc. I don't even know where one of the party lives, so I put her lawyers address as the contact info. Please help me, thank you.

Hire a process server and have them served. You'll find listings in the phone book.
