Salary and Benefit Cut by New Employer
    Hello,

I have worked for the same florida organization for more than 7 years. My company has recently been sold and the new owners want to cut my salary, and my commission fees, plus remove my daughter from the company paid health insurance policy. I had a oral contact with prior owner to pay all heath care after my 2 year anniversary, plus I have a written offer letter from the employer when I started 7 years ago, which stated my salary at that time, without the 14K raise I received over the course of my employment. Can the new owners just come in an reorganize my salary, benefits, and commission?:wallbang:

Yes, it is quite possible that they can. Whether or not your contract with the old employer is still in effect with the new employer depends on both the wording of the contract and the terms of the sale.
