Warrant for Fraud from 2001 in Florida
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida
I just found out my fiancee has a warrant in Florida for a fraudulent check ($200), from 2001. He didn't move out of Florida until 2005, so I don't understand how he was never served the warrant. How can I get this taken care of without paying an attorney and without him returning to Florida? This case is over 7 years old and I'm hoping for some kind of agreement or settlement. Is that possible?:wallbang:
If an attorney is the only way to go, Do I need one from Florida?

You will need a Florida attorney.
The chances of him being able to clear up a fugitive warrant without him being physically present are possible but not likely.
