    Civil Judgement Reattached After Bankruptcy
    My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Indiana.Can a civil judgement be re attached after filing it in a Ch7 BK.??

    yes...discharged, but I was told they may be able to re attach

    who told you this? Did you speak with your bankruptcy attorney?

    It was a suit filed against me and my business by a client who went into foreclosure. I chose to not fight it due to the legal expenses and length of time. I have had general comments made about the exception rules on discharged bk items being re attached due to the nature of the suit. Hope that helps

    You chose not to fight the lawsuit before you filed bankruptcy, or you chose not to fight their motion to have their judgment held exempt from discharge or objections to discharge?

    Your best bet, as implied above, is to talk to your bankruptcy lawyer.
