Father Found Loophole in Termantion of Parental Rights
My question involves guardianship in the State of:
My fiance's father was charged with his 17th DUI. That was a while ago. But however, he's had no parental rights since my fiance was little.
Recently, the father has found some "loop-hole" that allows my fiance's father to visit my fiance's school, and call a meeting with a counselor. The father has tried this before and was denied because he was no where on record at the school for having parental rights.
Isn't it obvious that someone who has commited several crimes in the past and also his 17th DUI shouldn't have parental rights? Along with (not legally proven) neglect of his children? (it was just never brought up in court)

Commiting crimes and having DUI does not terminate parental rights.

I have actually heard of visitation orders that forced one parent to bring the kids to the prison to visit the other parent... through wireglass.
