Paternity in Texas
My question involves paternity law for the State of: Texas
What if a woman is married and got pregnant by another man. The husband requests a dna test after the childs birth and is the presumed father and now the woman wants the other man to take a dna test too and be put on child support all while still married and cohabitating with her husband. The child is two months old.

Re: Paternity in Texas
Fill us in: Who is identified as the father on the birth certificate? What was the result of the DNA test? If the husband is identified as the father, and the DNA test says he's not the biological father, does he want to remain the child's legal father? Who are you?

Re: Paternity in Texas
The husband is identified as the father on the birth certificate. A DNA test has not been taken. The mother wants the other man to take a dna test because the father requested that he himself take one because he is suspicious that the child may not be his. The husband and wife are still together.
