Failure To Stop At Red Light (Camera)
My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: CA
I was caught by a camera passing a red light at 4:14am. However I was turning right at the intersection. does it make any difference? Can I contest such a ticket? Is this violation as bad as passing a red light?
I got a 435$ ticket, does it fit what I did?

If you ran a red light, you got a ticket. Even if you were turning right, you can turn right on red after you make a complete stop.

Ooch! Thats gonna hurt the wallet. I would be checking to see if thats the correct amount, it seems a bit high.
