    Caught Shoplifting But Not Stopped
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana
I am a 17 year old male and I was in Walmart today and i came across a iPhone 1 care which costs 69.98. I looked at it a bit and then stealthy took it to the bathroom. At this point no one noticed, not even me ( I was planning on buying it) I entered the bathroom and no one was in there. SO I had this bad voice in me saying open it and take it. So I listened to that voice and opened it and took the info that I needed and shoved it down my pants. Everything was going smooth but I had to mess it up by throwing the package in the trash can while one of their employees was using the bathroom. I headed out and for some reason I went back to that area to see if I was clear. And then I saw a lady holding the package that I threw out and she was looking around. I pretended that I was looking for a product and asked one of the employees and started to head out once I saw that lady. Somehow she knew it was me and she followed me out and I confused her in the parking lot, got into my car and floored the accelerator. I looked at my rear mirror and she was on the phone and she was at a far distance. I don't have a license plate, I have a temporary plate on my window which is tinted and cannot be seen even if your 3 feet away from it. My question is can they hold me against anything? If I go back to walmart, can they identify me by the cameras? I learned my lesson and I will never do anything juvenile again.

Yeah... you can bet your last dollar that she was LP and on the phone to the police.

Don't know what she will be able to do with it, though.

Oh, and there is a reason there is an old saying that the guilty always return to the scene of the crime....

You did it again and again...
