Caught Shoplifting in Walmart in VA

My question involves criminal law for the state of: VA
so me and my husband were in walmart and we had our one month old son with us and we decided to steal. don ask me WHY we were dumb but we are not here to judge now are we? so anyways, weve been struggling with formula and diapers and stuff and we decided to steal, and we ended up stealing like 200 dollars worth of hygiene items and stuff for our baby. we had put it all in the diaper bag. bad i know right but we were stupid still dont judge me please. so anyways we got through the FIRSt set of doors and we were stopped. we had to sit and wait for the cops and stuff and we were never cuffed but had to sign paper work, so our court date is tomorow, this is our first offense for both of us, so what is going to happen to us? we both have clean records and we coroperated well with everyone. please help, im a nervous wreck. we never had to go into the jail or anything, we were let off and were alowed to go home tht same night. please help
