My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Ohio
so mybestfriend is 16 and her mom said when i turned 18 that we could not hangout cause i'm a boy and it wrong for us to. Her mom said she would press charges and i want to know what kind she could press?:confused:

That depends on what you're doing.
But as long as your friend is under 18, if Mom says no, it's no. Regardless.

i'm not doing anything wrong we're just being normal highschool student hanging out.

Then she probably can't press any charges against you. At least, not right away.
But she CAN prevent your friend from "hanging out" with you. And if you do so anyway, she may be able to get a restraining order and if you violate that, THEN she has charges she can press.
So whether it's reasonable or not, it would be a good idea to honor Mom's wishes here.
