    Well I went to court today and got a public defender, but no probation violations came up. The DA said something strange, said Id been charged with possession of a schedule 6 controlled substance, but that's marijuana, not xanax, which is schedule 4.

    a good lawyer can make a world of difference when you go to court. The can reduce charge,help avoid jail time,etc.Ask your legal aid,they should have some kind of guess of the penalty. I would also mention to the legal aid about your other case and see what they say.

    Believe me Ill do everything I can. And Im not a fool. Ive learned my lesson from this mess.
