HYTA Probation and Owning a Firearm
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan

I plead guilty to a felony drug charge (possession w/intent to distribute). I got put on Michigan's HYTA probation program which I successfully completed 3 years ago. Now I know that if I completed the program without violation that legally I wouldnt be convicted. So my question is am I legally able to own a firearm or rifle? Any comments will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

The arrest and conviction will still be there on the federal level. You can try to purchase but I would be surprised if you where granted a weapon.

If this happend when you where under the age of 18 you stand a better chance.

Read what you are signing very carefully, you will see questions about arrests etc. BE HONEST, you can not lie on these forms.
