What Can I Do

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Michigan

i am 17 and i want to leave my house.. i get treated like dirt and im constentley yelled at for stupid things...my mother and my sister both gang up on me and say mean horrid things to me.. i get yelled for doing nothing wrong :wallbang: ..its getting to the point were i cant even take it anymore.. my Boyfriend wants me to come live with him cause he's tired of the way i get treated.. but i dont know what i have to do to leave.. can anyone tell me what i need to do to get outta here? :(

Wait until you turn 18 then go. You get to go where your mother says you can go and if she says no more boyfriend, then no more boyfriend. She can get an order for him to say away from you and if he doesn't listen, then he goes to jail.

Hang in there, your 17, so it's not too much longer. You posted in the emancipation page, and emancipation is not about leaving home to live with your boyfriend.

but i dont want to leve to live with him.. i want to leave cause of the way im treated and everything... my boyfriends just trying to help :(

The reason doesn't matter. No matter what your reason, no judge is going to emancipate you so that you can live with your boyfriend.

What EXACTLY is it that you want us to say? Did you READ about emancipation prior to posting? Of course not, or YOU would understand! :wallbang:

Yes, we understand that you do not want to be emancipated so that you can live with your boyfriend.

That does not change the fact that a judge is not going to emancipate you if you are intending to live with your boyfriend or his family, REGARDLESS of why you want to be emancipated.
